HIGH TECH Alternative to Paper Note Cards and More!
Whether you want to take notes to write a research paper, create a knowledge base, make an e-book or a help system, "My Notes Keeper" provides an effective way to do all this
WPG Computing, Inc. has announced the release of "My Notes Keeper" v.1.5. This application provides you with a centralized location for various types of notes, which are organized into a searchable knowledge base. Thanks to the Word-style interface and editing options, you can create and edit notes in much the same way as you would type a document in a familiar word processor, applying styling, inserting images, tables, hyperlinks, etc. The knowledge base can be encrypted and protected with a password to ensure the safety of its contents.
"My Notes Keeper" has been designed as a high tech alternative to paper note cards. Many people write out their thoughts, plans or outlines on paper cards but then find themselves unable to retrieve the one they need in the disastrous chaos of paper. "My Notes Keeper" makes a search for information refreshingly clean and easy. Firstly, this is due to the tree-like representation of notes, which enables you to find the note you need literally at a glance. Secondly, the application has a solid search facility that can go through notes and find any information in no time, regardless of the size and number of notes in the knowledge base. A special treat in "My Notes Keeper" is its text editing environment, which gives you all standard text and paragraph editing options like setting up fonts, color, size, background color, inserting tables, images, and symbols. You can also import texts in such formats as *.txt, *.wri, *.rtf, *.doc, *.html and export notes to *.txt, *.html, *.wri, *.doc and some other formats. These and many other options are delivered in a familiar user interface whose design takes after Microsoft Word. Due to this peculiarity, you can start using the program right "out of the box" without the need to spend time on reading the user manual or studying the interface. Note taking and keeping are not the only benefits you will gain with this software. "My Notes Keeper" can be used to create professional help systems and electronic books that blend together text, graphics, media and hyperlinks. For this purpose, the program has a compiler that can package up a project as a single *.chm or *.exe file in just a few mouse clicks. Another useful feature is a reminder tool that alerts you with a popup window or a sound at a specific time or over a time interval. With this facility, you will never forget about a specific event like somebody's birthday or a business meeting or some other things to remember. How customers can use "My Notes Keeper"? . Take and store electronic notes; . Create a personal or corporate knowledge base; . Create and compile an electronic book or a help system; . Create a To-Do list and keep track of things; . Create and manage a contact list, a customer list or an address book; . Store passwords, photos, URL links; . Create a standalone exe database.
